Central Library and Medical Library - About the Library Services from October, 2020

Our library services from October are provided as follows. The services not written on this page are provided as usual.

And the following information may be subject to change depending on the changing situation of COVID-19. Please access the library website for any updates whenever necessary.

Opening hours

Central Library

    2020.10.1~10.25

  • Weekdays: 9:00-17:00
  • Saturdays: 10:00-17:00
  • 2020.10.26~

  • Weekdays: 9:00-20:00
  • Saturdays: 10:00-17:00
  •  ※Oct. 31 & Nov. 2: 9:00-17:00


    Medical Library

      2020.10.1~10.31

    • Weekdays: 8:30-17:00
    • Saturdays: 10:30-17:30
    • 2020.11.1~

    • Weekdays: 8:30-20:00
    • Saturdays: 10:30-17:30

    • Period and number of books to be loaned

      Central Library

      • Period: as usual
      • Number: Students can borrow books twice as usual (graduate: 14, under graduate:10). Faculties and administrative staffs: as usual.
      •  ※Students can borrow books by mail also during the second semester.


        Medical Library

        • Period: as usual
        • Number: as usual

        • Reducing Seating Capacity

          We are reducing seating capacity in the reading rooms and personal computer area in order to keep social distancing for your safety.

          For Non-Gifu University members

          Central Library (last updated: April 26, 2021)

          From April 27, 2021, Non-Gifu University members cannot enter Central Library.
          ※Return dates of books on loan will be extended to 14 days after the library is reopened to non-Gifu University members.

          Medical Library

          Non-Gifu University members cannot enter Medical Library for the time being.


          Attention

          • Please make sure to wear face masks when you come to the libraries.
          • If you have a fever or cough, or if you feel unwell,
            please refrain from entering the libraries.
          • Please maintain social distancing when you use the libraries.

          • Some library services are still temporarily unavailable due to necessary precautions against COVID-19.
