Central Library & Medical Library - Announcement of extension of the temporary closure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (as of May 1)

Both the Central Library and Medical Library are temporarily closed to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).And the temporary closure will be extended as below:

　　　Period: from April 6, 2020 until further notice

Library Services offered during this temporary closure period (May 7～):
　　●Extending the return dates of the books
　　　　Return dates of all books borrowed after March 1, 2020 will be extended as follows:
　　　　　　Central library: 14 days after the libraries are reopened
　　　　　　Medical library: 7 days after the libraries are reopened
　　 ●Book reservations
　　　　Reserved books will be kept for 7 days after the libraries are reopened.
　　 ●Remote access to electronic journals and databases
　　　　Full time faculties and other students can access the electronic journals
　　　　and databases which Gifu University subscribes to off-campus
　　　　via authentication system, "Gakunin".
　　 ●ILL(Inter library loan)　※For Gifu University members
　　　　Requests from members who qualify for university expenses can be accepted.
　　　　We are sorry for any inconvenience. When the library re-opens,
　　　　we will start to accept requests funded at private expense again.
